My new enterprise, Oakley Intertidal Marine Education, Outreach and Consultancy was launched in April 2008. My website is at www.oakleyintertidal.co.uk
I have been undertaking outreach work with local schools in South-west Wales, together with leading public events on the shores. I recently wrote a marine/coastal leaflet for the City and County of Swansea together with a seashore guide to Neath Port Talbot for the local authority. I carry out regular shore surveys with groups of volunteers for the national 'Shore Thing Project' run by the Marine LIfe Information Network. Amongst all this, I continue to write many marine-awareness raising articles and features, based on my own species sightings, photographs and records.
